Welcome to my wiki!!
Hi my name is Teagan
and i am 10 years old.
My teacher is Mrs Tavita and she is very cool!
My hobbies are swimming, netball and touch.
I like spending time with my family and friends, i have three brothers and three sisters all different ages.
At school i engoy hanging out with my friends, learning new things and making even more friends.
My favoruite type of fruit is strawberries. I like basically any animals and have three pets at home myself, they are two cats and one dog.

Maybe i should tell you a bit more about myself.
mmm... back to friends i think, well i have seven good friends they are
Danica, Jessica, Talia, Nikita, Rosie, Azaria and Bonnie.

My favoruite dessert topping is caremel and mmm.... maybe a little bit of chocolate topping too.

I also did KapaHaka which some people from my school including me practiced as hard as we could for the Cultural festival on the 25th of August 2009. When the night came my stomach was churning and by the time we got to the ChCh town hall i was feeling very nervous but when i got inside and saw some of my friends there, i felt a little better.

When it was time to get behind stage ready to perform i felt even more nervous than before because we were performing in front of thousands of people and i was in the front row! When we got out on to the stage and started our first dance i started to feel better because i knew i was doing good and having great fun. I didn't even muddle up once which was great! When we had finished i was very excited and happy that we had done it and i was sure we did great! The three other girls from my class that did it along with other kids from our school were: Danica, Rosie and Tamika and of course ME!

A CHINESE POEM

Our mother sings a chinese song as she
works in the kitchen all day long. She rises early
to make a breakfast. Rice porridge, pickles, boiled eggs
milk,and slices of bread.

For lunch, she cooks ribbon noodles in a hot broth with chinese greens, sliced pork, spring onions and bean sprouts.

In the afternoon, a yeasty aroma fills the air. Our mother chinese buns, kneading the doughand counting the pieces like little children. She rolls them pats them shapes and stuffs them with sweet and savoury fillings. She makes dumplings, her nimble fingers neatly pleating tiny purses.

TINY TIM POEM
I had a little brother his name is tiny tim
we put him in the bath tub to see if he could swim
he drank up all the water
and ate up all the soap
he died last night with a bubble in his throat.

Honey Bees.....

HoneyBees are better than wasps because HoneyBees sting you once then they die, but wasps are different, they sting you untill you run away or smack them.

HoneyBees live in bee hives. HoneyBees are bright yellow and orange, there approximate size is 12 millimetres. The food they eat is nectar.

The HoneyBees enimies are birds.Bees hate water and would be lucky if they survived in there.

Worker bees may travel 20 000 kilometres to make 500 grams of honey. Worker bees show where the honey is by dancing on the honeycomb at an angle of 45 degrees.

As i have mentoned before Bees are much nicer than wasps so just remember that if a wasp stings you get it off as soon as possible.

All of this term the third term, M5 and S4 (my class and a senior class) have been practising for a folk dancing evening on 17 of september 2009. We had practiced hard and last night it finally came everyone was very excited, by about 6.45 pm everyone had arrived in S1 and S2, and at about 10 to 7 Kennedy had started speaking into the microphone welcoming everyone into the dance and telling them what our first dance was going to be which was head to toe polka. There is about six dances and the first two or three are always really really really good, but i reckon that this time all of them were really really really good!!!!!! Not just good but very very very very very very very FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last night was like the best folk dancing night i had ever done well actually that was the first one but that deffinatly does not matter............ TO ME!

A very unexpected thing has happened.... very sadly yesterday 20 september most of the school found out that
Mrs Tavita our very cool teacher is leaving to be head of a school in kuwait called cambridge english school it was very short notice and everyone will miss her im sure of it because i will. The teacher that will take over this classroom will be Miss Haywood
apparently she has taught years 5 to 6 for six years now so shes probably a very deep experienced teacher and lets hope for the best!!!

CATS AND KITTENS!!!!

Kittens are very cute. Kittens are mammals and they can be lots of different colours. Most cats have fur but some cats don't, it can be like this because of the type of cat they are or just because they had to get it shaved off, if they get it shaved off it will definitely grow back. Cats can have Kittens very early earlier than you would expect, they can actually have them when they are only Kittens themselves.Cats can be the colour ginger, black, grey or white there is more then that but i just told you a few.

Mrs Tavita has left now and she has been having lots of fun as i have heard on our front page they must be super hot there i wonder if it ever snows there?? Anyway we really miss her but we have a new teacher to keep us company her name is Miss Hayward. She is very nice and it's very funny because she calls herself Beautiful Miss Hayward but the thing is she is actually beautiful, there has been times when we are just sitting in class discussing something when somebody puts there hand up and says ''I like your pants'' Or ''I like your top'' Or ''your hair hair is very pretty today Miss Hayward''
and so on.

On the 28th of october we had 'Athletics Day' It was a very warm day and by the end of the day i was sunburnt on my neck, shoulders and face. I stayed home for 3 days and now i have hayfever so does Sue, Nikita and a few other people.

Responsibilities i have enrolled in this year; Kapa-Haka,
Choir, Netball Tournament, Touch
